The sons of Midian: Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida and Eldaah. All these were descendants of Keturah.

When Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah succeeded him as king.

These were the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun,

Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad and Asher.

The sons of Judah: Er, Onan and Shelah. These three were born to him by a Canaanite woman, the daughter of Shua. Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the LORD’S sight; so the LORD put him to death.
犹大的儿子是珥、俄南、示拉；这三人是迦南人书亚女儿所生的。犹大的长子珥，在耶和华眼中看为恶，耶和华就使他死了。
代上2:4
Tamar, Judah’s daughter-in-law, bore him Perez and Zerah. Judah had five sons in all.
犹大的儿妇她玛给犹大生法勒斯和谢拉。犹大共有五个儿子。

The sons of Perez: Hezron and Hamul.
法勒斯的儿子是希斯仑、哈母勒。

The sons of Zerah: Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol and Darda–five in all.
谢拉的儿子是心利、以探、希幔、甲各、大拉（即“达大”），共五人。

The son of Carmi: Achar, who brought trouble on Israel by violating the ban on taking devoted things.

When Azubah died, Caleb married Ephrath, who bore him Hur.

Segub was the father of Jair, who controlled twenty-three towns in Gilead.

(But Geshur and Aram captured Havvoth Jair, as well as Kenath with its surrounding settlements–sixty towns.) All these were descendants of Makir the father of Gilead.

After Hezron died in Caleb Ephrathah, Abijah the wife of Hezron bore him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.

The sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron: Ram his firstborn, Bunah, Oren, Ozem and Ahijah.

Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.

These were the sons of David born to him in Hebron: The firstborn was Amnon the son of Ahinoam of Jezreel; the second, Daniel the son of Abigail of Carmel;
大卫在希伯仑所生的儿子记在下面。长子暗嫩是耶斯列人亚希暖生的，次子但以利是迦密人亚比该生的，

the third, Absalom the son of Maacah daughter of Talmai king of Geshur; the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith;
三子押沙龙是基述王达买的女儿玛迦生的，四子亚多尼雅是哈及生的，

the fifth, Shephatiah the son of Abital; and the sixth, Ithream, by his wife Eglah.
五子示法提雅是亚比她生的，六子以特念是大卫的妻以格拉生的。

These six were born to David in Hebron, where he reigned seven years and six months. David reigned in Jerusalem thirty-three years,
这六人都是大卫在希伯仑生的。大卫在希伯仑作王七年零六个月，在耶路撒冷作王三十三年。

and these were the children born to him there: Shammua, Shobab, Nathan and Solomon. These four were by Bathsheba daughter of Ammiel.

Solomon’s son was Rehoboam, Abijah his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,

Their genealogical record listed the heads of families and 20,200 fighting men.

Makir took a wife from among the Huppites and Shuppites. His sister’s name was Maacah. Another descendant was named Zelophehad, who had only daughters.

Makir’s wife Maacah gave birth to a son and named him Peresh. His brother was named Sheresh, and his sons were Ulam and Rakem.

The priests, who were heads of families, numbered 1,760. They were able men, responsible for ministering in the house of God.

The gatekeepers: Shallum, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman and their brothers, Shallum their chief
守门的是沙龙、亚谷、达们、亚希幔和他们的弟兄，沙龙为长。

being stationed at the King’s Gate on the east, up to the present time. These were the gatekeepers belonging to the camp of the Levites.

Shallum son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his fellow gatekeepers from his family (the Korahites) were responsible for guarding the thresholds of the Tent just as their fathers had been responsible for guarding the entrance to the dwelling of the LORD.
可拉的曾孙、以比雅撒的孙子、可利的儿子沙龙，和他的族弟兄可拉人，都管理使用之工，并守会幕的门。他们的祖宗曾管理耶和华的营盘，又把守营门。

In earlier times Phinehas son of Eleazar was in charge of the gatekeepers, and the LORD was with him.
从前以利亚撒的儿子非尼哈管理他们，耶和华也与他同在。

Zechariah son of Meshelemiah was the gatekeeper at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
米施利米雅的儿子撒迦利雅，是看守会幕之门的。

Altogether, those chosen to be gatekeepers at the thresholds numbered 212. They were registered by genealogy in their villages. The gatekeepers had been assigned to their positions of trust by David and Samuel the seer.
被选守门的人共有二百一十二名，他们在自己的村庄，按着家谱计算，是大卫和先见撒母耳所派当这紧要职任的。

They and their descendants were in charge of guarding the gates of the house of the LORD–the house called the Tent.

The gatekeepers were on the four sides: east, west, north and south.

Their brothers in their villages had to come from time to time and share their duties for seven-day periods.

But the four principal gatekeepers, who were Levites, were entrusted with the responsibility for the rooms and treasuries in the house of God.

They would spend the night stationed around the house of God, because they had to guard it; and they had charge of the key for opening it each morning.

Some of them were in charge of the articles used in the temple service; they counted them when they were brought in and when they were taken out.

Others were assigned to take care of the furnishings and all the other articles of the sanctuary, as well as the flour and wine, and the oil, incense and spices.

A Levite named Mattithiah, the firstborn son of Shallum the Korahite, was entrusted with the responsibility for baking the offering bread.

Some of their Kohathite brothers were in charge of preparing for every Sabbath the bread set out on the table.

Those who were musicians, heads of Levite families, stayed in the rooms of the temple and were exempt from other duties because they were responsible for the work day and night.

All these were heads of Levite families, chiefs as listed in their genealogy, and they lived in Jerusalem.

代上10:1
Now the Philistines fought against Israel; the Israelites fled before them, and many fell slain on Mount Gilboa.

代上10:2
The Philistines pressed hard after Saul and his sons, and they killed his sons Jonathan, Abinadab and Malki-Shua.
非利士人紧追扫罗和他儿子们，就杀了扫罗的儿子约拿单、亚比拿达、麦基舒亚。
代上10:3
The fighting grew fierce around Saul, and when the archers overtook him, they wounded him.
势派甚大，扫罗被弓箭手追上，射伤甚重，

Saul said to his armor-bearer, “Draw your sword and run me through, or these uncircumcised fellows will come and abuse me.” But his armor-bearer was terrified and would not do it; so Saul took his own sword and fell on it.
就吩咐拿他兵器的人说：“你拔出刀来，将我刺死，免得那些未受割礼的人来凌辱我。”但拿兵器的人甚惧怕，不肯刺他。
代上10:5
When the armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he too fell on his sword and died.
扫罗就自己伏在刀上死了。拿兵器的人见扫罗已死，也伏在刀上死了。
代上10:6
So Saul and his three sons died, and all his house died together.
这样，扫罗和他三个儿子并他的全家都一同死亡。
代上10:7
When all the Israelites in the valley saw that the army had fled and that Saul and his sons had died, they abandoned their towns and fled. And the Philistines came and occupied them.
住平原的以色列众人见以色列军兵逃跑，扫罗和他儿子都死了，也就弃城逃跑，非利士人便来住在其中。
代上10:8
The next day, when the Philistines came to strip the dead, they found Saul and his sons fallen on Mount Gilboa.
次日，非利士人来剥那被杀之人的衣服，看见扫罗和他儿子仆倒在基利波山，

They stripped him and took his head and his armor, and sent messengers throughout the land of the Philistines to proclaim the news among their idols and their people.
就剥了他的军装，割下他的首级，打发人到非利士地的四境（“到”或作“送到”）报信与他们的偶像和众民；

They put his armor in the temple of their gods and hung up his head in the temple of Dagon.

When all the inhabitants of Jabesh Gilead heard of everything the Philistines had done to Saul,
基列雅比人听见非利士人向扫罗所行的一切事，

all their valiant men went and took the bodies of Saul and his sons and brought them to Jabesh. Then they buried their bones under the great tree in Jabesh, and they fasted seven days.

Saul died because he was unfaithful to the LORD; he did not keep the word of the LORD and even consulted a medium for guidance,

and did not inquire of the LORD. So the LORD put him to death and turned the kingdom over to David son of Jesse.

代上11:1
All Israel came together to David at Hebron and said, “We are your own flesh and blood.
以色列众人聚集到希伯仑见大卫说：“我们原是你的骨肉。
代上11:2
In the past, even while Saul was king, you were the one who led Israel on their military campaigns. And the LORD your God said to you, ‘You will shepherd my people Israel, and you will become their ruler.’”
从前扫罗作王的时候，率领以色列人出入的是你，耶和华你的 神也曾应许你说：‘你必牧养我的民以色列，作以色列的君。’”
代上11:3
When all the elders of Israel had come to King David at Hebron, he made a compact with them at Hebron before the LORD, and they anointed David king over Israel, as the LORD had promised through Samuel.
于是，以色列的长老都来到希伯仑见大卫王，大卫在希伯仑耶和华面前与他们立约。他们就膏大卫作以色列的王，是照耶和华藉撒母耳所说的话。
代上11:4
David and all the Israelites marched to Jerusalem (that is, Jebus). The Jebusites who lived there
大卫和以色列众人到了耶路撒冷，就是耶布斯，那时耶布斯人住在那里。
代上11:5
said to David, “You will not get in here.” Nevertheless, David captured the fortress of Zion, the City of David.
耶布斯人对大卫说：“你决不能进这地方。”然而，大卫攻取锡安的保障，就是大卫的城。
代上11:6
David had said, “Whoever leads the attack on the Jebusites will become commander-in-chief.” Joab son of Zeruiah went up first, and so he received the command.
大卫说：“谁先攻打耶布斯人，必作首领元帅。”洗鲁雅的儿子约押先上去，就作了元帅。
代上11:7
David then took up residence in the fortress, and so it was called the City of David.
大卫住在保障里，所以那保障叫作大卫城。
代上11:8
He built up the city around it, from the supporting terraces to the surrounding wall, while Joab restored the rest of the city.
大卫又从米罗起，四围建筑城墙，其余的是约押修理。
代上11:9
And David became more and more powerful, because the LORD Almighty was with him.
大卫日见强盛，因为万军之耶和华与他同在。
代上11:10
These were the chiefs of David’s mighty men–they, together with all Israel, gave his kingship strong support to extend it over the whole land, as the LORD had promised–
以下记录跟随大卫勇士的首领，就是奋勇帮助他得国、照着耶和华吩咐以色列人的话、与以色列人一同立他作王的。
代上11:11
this is the list of David’s mighty men: Jashobeam, a Hacmonite, was chief of the officers; he raised his spear against three hundred men, whom he killed in one encounter.
大卫勇士的数目记在下面：哈革摩尼的儿子雅朔班，他是军长的统领，一时举枪杀了三百人。
代上11:12
Next to him was Eleazar son of Dodai the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men.
其次是亚合人朵多的儿子以利亚撒，他是三个勇士里的一个。

He was with David at Pas Dammim when the Philistines gathered there for battle. At a place where there was a field full of barley, the troops fled from the Philistines.

But they took their stand in the middle of the field. They defended it and struck the Philistines down, and the LORD brought about a great victory.

Three of the thirty chiefs came down to David to the rock at the cave of Adullam, while a band of Philistines was encamped in the Valley of Rephaim.
三十个勇士中的三个人下到磐石那里，进了亚杜兰洞见大卫，非利士的军队在利乏音谷安营。

At that time David was in the stronghold, and the Philistine garrison was at Bethlehem.

David longed for water and said, “Oh, that someone would get me a drink of water from the well near the gate of Bethlehem!”
大卫渴想说：“甚愿有人将伯利恒城门旁井里的水打来给我喝！”

So the Three broke through the Philistine lines, drew water from the well near the gate of Bethlehem and carried it back to David. But he refused to drink it; instead, he poured it out before the LORD.
这三个勇士就闯过非利士人的营盘，从伯利恒城门旁的井里打水，拿来奉给大卫。他却不肯喝，将水奠在耶和华面前，
代上11:19
“God forbid that I should do this!” he said. “Should I drink the blood of these men who went at the risk of their lives?” Because they risked their lives to bring it back, David would not drink it. Such were the exploits of the three mighty men.
说：“我的 神啊，这三个人冒死去打水，这水好像他们的血一般，我断不敢喝！”如此，大卫不肯喝。这是三个勇士所做的事。
代上11:20
Abishai the brother of Joab was chief of the Three. He raised his spear against three hundred men, whom he killed, and so he became as famous as the Three.
约押的兄弟亚比筛，是这三个勇士的首领。他举枪杀了三百人，就在三个勇士里得了名。
代上11:21
He was doubly honored above the Three and became their commander, even though he was not included among them.
他在这三个勇士里是最尊贵的，所以作他们的首领，只是不及前三个勇士。
代上11:22
Benaiah son of Jehoiada was a valiant fighter from Kabzeel, who performed great exploits. He struck down two of Moab’s best men. He also went down into a pit on a snowy day and killed a lion.
有甲薛勇士耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅行过大能的事：他杀了摩押人亚利伊勒的两个儿子，又在下雪的时候，下坑里去杀了一个狮子，

And he struck down an Egyptian who was seven and a half feet tall. Although the Egyptian had a spear like a weaver’s rod in his hand, Benaiah went against him with a club. He snatched the spear from the Egyptian’s hand and killed him with his own spear.
又杀了一个埃及人；埃及人身高五肘，手里拿着枪，枪杆粗如织布的机轴；比拿雅只拿着棍子下去，从埃及人手里夺过枪来，用那枪将他刺死。

Such were the exploits of Benaiah son of Jehoiada; he too was as famous as the three mighty men.

He was held in greater honor than any of the Thirty, but he was not included among the Three. And David put him in charge of his bodyguard.
他比那三十个勇士都尊贵，只是不及前三个勇士。大卫立他作护卫长。

they were armed with bows and were able to shoot arrows or to sling stones right-handed or left-handed; they were kinsmen of Saul from the tribe of Benjamin):

It was they who crossed the Jordan in the first month when it was overflowing all its banks, and they put to flight everyone living in the valleys, to the east and to the west.

Other Benjamites and some men from Judah also came to David in his stronghold.

David went out to meet them and said to them, “If you have come to me in peace, to help me, I am ready to have you unite with me. But if you have come to betray me to my enemies when my hands are free from violence, may the God of our fathers see it and judge you.”

Then the Spirit came upon Amasai, chief of the Thirty, and he said: “We are yours, O David! We are with you, O son of Jesse! Success, success to you, and success to those who help you, for your God will help you.” So David received them and made them leaders of his raiding bands.

Some of the men of Manasseh defected to David when he went with the Philistines to fight against Saul. (He and his men did not help the Philistines because, after consultation, their rulers sent him away. They said, “It will cost us our heads if he deserts to his master Saul.”)
大卫从前与非利士人同去，要与扫罗争战，有些玛拿西人来投奔大卫，他们却没有帮助非利士人。因为非利士人的首领商议打发他们回去，说：“恐怕大卫拿我们的首级归降他的主人扫罗。”

When David went to Ziklag, these were the men of Manasseh who defected to him: Adnah, Jozabad, Jediael, Michael, Jozabad, Elihu and Zillethai, leaders of units of a thousand in Manasseh.
大卫往洗革拉去的时候，有玛拿西人的千夫长押拿、约撒拔、耶叠、米迦勒、约撒拔、以利户、洗勒太，都来投奔他。

They helped David against raiding bands, for all of them were brave warriors, and they were commanders in his army.
这些人帮助大卫攻击群贼。他们都是大能的勇士，且作军长。

Day after day men came to help David, until he had a great army, like the army of God.
那时，天天有人来帮助大卫，以致成了大军，如 神的军一样。

These are the numbers of the men armed for battle who came to David at Hebron to turn Saul’s kingdom over to him, as the LORD had said:
预备打仗的兵来到希伯仑见大卫，要照耶和华的话，将扫罗的国位归与大卫。他们的数目如下：

men of Judah, carrying shield and spear–6,800 armed for battle;
犹大支派，拿盾牌和枪预备打仗的有六千八百人。
代上12:25
men of Simeon, warriors ready for battle–7,100;
西缅支派，能上阵大能的勇士有七千一百人。
代上12:26
men of Levi–4,600,
利未支派有四千六百人。
代上12:27
including Jehoiada, leader of the family of Aaron, with 3,700 men,
耶何耶大是亚伦家的首领，跟从他的有三千七百人。

and Zadok, a brave young warrior, with 22 officers from his family;
还有少年大能的勇士撒督，同着他的有族长二十二人。

men of Benjamin, Saul’s kinsmen–3,000, most of whom had remained loyal to Saul’s house until then;
便雅悯支派、扫罗的族弟兄也有三千人，他们向来大半归顺扫罗家。

men of Ephraim, brave warriors, famous in their own clans–20,800;
以法莲支派大能的勇士，在本族着名的有二万零八百人。

men of half the tribe of Manasseh, designated by name to come and make David king–18,000;
玛拿西半支派，册上有名的共一万八千人，都来立大卫作王。

men of Issachar, who understood the times and knew what Israel should do–200 chiefs, with all their relatives under their command;
以萨迦支派有二百族长，都通达时务，知道以色列人所当行的，他们族弟兄都听从他们的命令。

men of Zebulun, experienced soldiers prepared for battle with every type of weapon, to help David with undivided loyalty–50,000;
西布伦支派能上阵，用各样兵器打仗，行伍整齐，不生二心的有五万人。

men of Naphtali–1,000 officers, together with 37,000 men carrying shields and spears;
拿弗他利支派有一千军长，跟从他们拿盾牌和枪的有三万七千人。

men of Dan, ready for battle–28,600;
但支派，能摆阵的有二万八千六百人。

men of Asher, experienced soldiers prepared for battle–40,000;
亚设支派，能上阵打仗的有四万人。

and from east of the Jordan, men of Reuben, Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh, armed with every type of weapon–120,000.
约旦河东的流便支派、迦得支派、玛拿西半支派，拿着各样兵器打仗的有十二万人。

All these were fighting men who volunteered to serve in the ranks. They came to Hebron fully determined to make David king over all Israel. All the rest of the Israelites were also of one mind to make David king.
以上都是能守行伍的战士。他们都诚心来到希伯仑，要立大卫作以色列的王。以色列其余的人也都一心要立大卫作王。
代上12:39
The men spent three days there with David, eating and drinking, for their families had supplied provisions for them.
他们在那里三日，与大卫一同吃喝，因为他们的族弟兄给他们预备了。

Also, their neighbors from as far away as Issachar, Zebulun and Naphtali came bringing food on donkeys, camels, mules and oxen. There were plentiful supplies of flour, fig cakes, raisin cakes, wine, oil, cattle and sheep, for there was joy in Israel.

代上13:1
David conferred with each of his officers, the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds.
大卫与千夫长、百夫长，就是一切首领商议。
代上13:2
He then said to the whole assembly of Israel, “If it seems good to you and if it is the will of the LORD our God, let us send word far and wide to the rest of our brothers throughout the territories of Israel, and also to the priests and Levites who are with them in their towns and pasturelands, to come and join us.
大卫对以色列全会众说：“你们若以为美，见这事是出于耶和华我们的 神，我们就差遣人走遍以色列地，见我们未来的弟兄，又见住在有郊野之城的祭司利未人，使他们都到这里来聚集。
代上13:3
Let us bring the ark of our God back to us, for we did not inquire of it during the reign of Saul.”
我们要把 神的约柜运到我们这里来，因为在扫罗年间，我们没有在约柜前求问 神。”
代上13:4
The whole assembly agreed to do this, because it seemed right to all the people.
全会众都说可以如此行，这事在众民眼中都看为好。
代上13:5
So David assembled all the Israelites, from the Shihor River in Egypt to Lebo Hamath, to bring the ark of God from Kiriath Jearim.
于是，大卫将以色列人从埃及的西曷河直到哈马口都招聚了来，要从基列耶琳将 神的约柜运来。
代上13:6
David and all the Israelites with him went to Baalah of Judah (Kiriath Jearim) to bring up from there the ark of God the LORD, who is enthroned between the cherubim–the ark that is called by the Name.
大卫率领以色列众人上到巴拉，就是属犹大的基列耶琳，要从那里将约柜运来。这约柜就是坐在二基路伯上耶和华 神留名的约柜。
代上13:7
They moved the ark of God from Abinadab’s house on a new cart, with Uzzah and Ahio guiding it.
他们将 神的约柜从亚比拿达的家里抬出来，放在新车上，乌撒和亚希约赶车。
代上13:8
David and all the Israelites were celebrating with all their might before God, with songs and with harps, lyres, tambourines, cymbals and trumpets.

When they came to the threshing floor of Kidon, Uzzah reached out his hand to steady the ark, because the oxen stumbled.

代上13:10
The LORD’S anger burned against Uzzah, and he struck him down because he had put his hand on the ark. So he died there before God.
耶和华向他发怒，因他伸手扶住约柜击杀他，他就死在 神面前。
代上13:11
Then David was angry because the LORD’S wrath had broken out against Uzzah, and to this day that place is called Perez Uzzah.
大卫因耶和华击杀（原文作“闯杀”）乌撒，心里愁烦，就称那地方为毗列斯乌撒，直到今日。
代上13:12
David was afraid of God that day and asked, “How can I ever bring the ark of God to me?”
那日，大卫惧怕 神说：“ 神的约柜怎可运到我这里来？”
代上13:13
He did not take the ark to be with him in the City of David. Instead, he took it aside to the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite.
于是，大卫不将约柜运进大卫的城，却运到迦特人俄别以东的家中。
代上13:14
The ark of God remained with the family of Obed-Edom in his house for three months, and the LORD blessed his household and everything he had.
神的约柜在俄别以东家中三个月，耶和华赐福给俄别以东的家和他一切所有的。

代上14:1
Now Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, along with cedar logs, stonemasons and carpenters to build a palace for him.
推罗王希兰将香柏木运到大卫那里，又差遣使者和石匠、木匠给大卫建造宫殿。
代上14:2
And David knew that the LORD had established him as king over Israel and that his kingdom had been highly exalted for the sake of his people Israel.
大卫就知道耶和华坚立他作以色列王，又为自己的民以色列，使他的国兴旺。
代上14:3
In Jerusalem David took more wives and became the father of more sons and daughters.
大卫在耶路撒冷又立后妃又生儿女。
代上14:4
These are the names of the children born to him there: Shammua, Shobab, Nathan, Solomon,
在耶路撒冷所生的众子是沙母亚、朔罢、拿单、所罗门、
代上14:5
Ibhar, Elishua, Elpelet,
益辖、以利书亚、以法列、

Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,

Elishama, Beeliada and Eliphelet.

代上14:8
When the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over all Israel, they went up in full force to search for him, but David heard about it and went out to meet them.
非利士人听见大卫受膏作以色列众人的王，非利士众人就上来寻索大卫。大卫听见，就出去迎敌。
代上14:9
Now the Philistines had come and raided the Valley of Rephaim;
非利士人来了，布散在利乏音谷。
代上14:10
so David inquired of God: “Shall I go and attack the Philistines? Will you hand them over to me?” The LORD answered him, “Go, I will hand them over to you.”
大卫求问 神说：“我可以上去攻打非利士人吗？你将他们交在我手里吗？”耶和华说：“你可以上去，我必将他们交在你手里。”
代上14:11
So David and his men went up to Baal Perazim, and there he defeated them. He said, “As waters break out, God has broken out against my enemies by my hand.” So that place was called Baal Perazim.
非利士人来到巴力毗拉心，大卫在那里杀败他们。大卫说：“ 神藉我的手冲破敌人，如同水冲去一般。”因此称那地方为巴力毗拉心。
代上14:12
The Philistines had abandoned their gods there, and David gave orders to burn them in the fire.
非利士人将神像撇在那里，大卫吩咐人用火焚烧了。

Once more the Philistines raided the valley;
非利士人又布散在利乏音谷。
代上14:14
so David inquired of God again, and God answered him, “Do not go straight up, but circle around them and attack them in front of the balsam trees.

As soon as you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, move out to battle, because that will mean God has gone out in front of you to strike the Philistine army.”

So David did as God commanded him, and they struck down the Philistine army, all the way from Gibeon to Gezer.

So David’s fame spread throughout every land, and the LORD made all the nations fear him.
于是，大卫的名传扬到列国，耶和华使列国都惧怕他。

代上15:1
After David had constructed buildings for himself in the City of David, he prepared a place for the ark of God and pitched a tent for it.
大卫在大卫城为自己建造宫殿，又为 神的约柜预备地方，支搭帐幕。
代上15:2
Then David said, “No one but the Levites may carry the ark of God, because the LORD chose them to carry the ark of the LORD and to minister before him forever.”
那时大卫说：“除了利未人之外，无人可抬 神的约柜，因为耶和华拣选他们抬 神的约柜，且永远事奉他。”
代上15:3
David assembled all Israel in Jerusalem to bring up the ark of the LORD to the place he had prepared for it.
大卫招聚以色列众人到耶路撒冷，要将耶和华的约柜抬到他所预备的地方。
代上15:4
He called together the descendants of Aaron and the Levites:
大卫又聚集亚伦的子孙和利未人：
代上15:5
From the descendants of Kohath, Uriel the leader and 120 relatives;
哥辖子孙中有族长乌列和他的弟兄一百二十人，
代上15:6
from the descendants of Merari, Asaiah the leader and 220 relatives;
米拉利子孙中有族长亚帅雅和他的弟兄二百二十人，
代上15:7
from the descendants of Gershon, Joel the leader and 130 relatives;
革顺子孙中有族长约珥和他的弟兄一百三十人，
代上15:8
from the descendants of Elizaphan, Shemaiah the leader and 200 relatives;

代上15:9
from the descendants of Hebron, Eliel the leader and 80 relatives;

from the descendants of Uzziel, Amminadab the leader and 112 relatives.

代上15:11
Then David summoned Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and Uriel, Asaiah, Joel, Shemaiah, Eliel and Amminadab the Levites.
大卫将祭司撒督和亚比亚他并利未人乌列、亚帅雅、约珥、示玛雅、以列、亚米拿达召来，
代上15:12
He said to them, “You are the heads of the Levitical families; you and your fellow Levites are to consecrate yourselves and bring up the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel, to the place I have prepared for it.
对他们说：“你们是利未人的族长，你们和你们的弟兄应当自洁，好将耶和华以色列 神的约柜抬到我所预备的地方。
代上15:13
It was because you, the Levites, did not bring it up the first time that the LORD our God broke out in anger against us. We did not inquire of him about how to do it in the prescribed way.”
因你们先前没有抬这约柜，按定例求问耶和华我们的 神，所以他刑罚（原文作“闯杀”）我们。”
代上15:14
So the priests and Levites consecrated themselves in order to bring up the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel.
于是，祭司利未人自洁，好将耶和华以色列 神的约柜抬上来。
代上15:15
And the Levites carried the ark of God with the poles on their shoulders, as Moses had commanded in accordance with the word of the LORD.
利未子孙就用杠肩抬 神的约柜，是照耶和华藉摩西所吩咐的。
代上15:16
David told the leaders of the Levites to appoint their brothers as singers to sing joyful songs, accompanied by musical instruments: lyres, harps and cymbals.
大卫吩咐利未人的族长，派他们歌唱的弟兄用琴瑟和钹作乐，欢欢喜喜地大声歌颂。
代上15:17
So the Levites appointed Heman son of Joel; from his brothers, Asaph son of Berekiah; and from their brothers the Merarites, Ethan son of Kushaiah;
于是，利未人派约珥的儿子希幔和他弟兄中比利家的儿子亚萨，并他们族弟兄米拉利子孙里古沙雅的儿子以探。
代上15:18
and with them their brothers next in rank: Zechariah, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom and Jeiel, the gatekeepers.
其次还有他们的弟兄撒迦利雅、便雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、乌尼、以利押、比拿雅、玛西雅、玛他提雅、以利斐利户、弥克尼雅，并守门的俄别以东和耶利。
代上15:19
The musicians Heman, Asaph and Ethan were to sound the bronze cymbals;
这样，派歌唱的希幔、亚萨、以探敲铜钹，大发响声；
代上15:20
Zechariah, Aziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseiah and Benaiah were to play the lyres according to alamoth,
派撒迦利雅、雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、乌尼、以利押、玛西雅、比拿雅鼓瑟，调用女音；
代上15:21
and Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom, Jeiel and Azaziah were to play the harps, directing according to sheminith.
又派玛他提雅、以利斐利户、弥克尼雅、俄别以东、耶利、亚撒西雅领首弹琴，调用第八。
代上15:22
Kenaniah the head Levite was in charge of the singing; that was his responsibility because he was skillful at it.
利未人的族长基拿尼雅是歌唱人的首领，又教训人歌唱，因为他精通此事。
代上15:23
Berekiah and Elkanah were to be doorkeepers for the ark.
比利家、以利加拿，是约柜前守门的。
代上15:24
Shebaniah, Joshaphat, Nethanel, Amasai, Zechariah, Benaiah and Eliezer the priests were to blow trumpets before the ark of God. Obed-Edom and Jehiah were also to be doorkeepers for the ark.
祭司示巴尼、约沙法、拿坦业、亚玛赛、撒迦利雅、比拿亚、以利以谢，在 神的约柜前吹号。俄别以东和耶希亚也是约柜前守门的。
代上15:25
So David and the elders of Israel and the commanders of units of a thousand went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD from the house of Obed-Edom, with rejoicing.
于是，大卫和以色列的长老并千夫长，都去从俄别以东的家，欢欢喜喜地将耶和华的约柜抬上来。
代上15:26
Because God had helped the Levites who were carrying the ark of the covenant of the LORD, seven bulls and seven rams were sacrificed.
神赐恩与抬耶和华约柜的利未人，他们就献上七只公牛，七只公羊。
代上15:27
Now David was clothed in a robe of fine linen, as were all the Levites who were carrying the ark, and as were the singers, and Kenaniah, who was in charge of the singing of the choirs. David also wore a linen ephod.
大卫和抬约柜的利未人，并歌唱人的首领基拿尼雅以及歌唱的人，都穿着细麻布的外袍。大卫另外穿着细麻布的以弗得。

So all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouts, with the sounding of rams’ horns and trumpets, and of cymbals, and the playing of lyres and harps.
这样，以色列众人欢呼吹角、吹号、敲钹、鼓瑟、弹琴，大发响声，将耶和华的约柜抬上来。
代上15:29
As the ark of the covenant of the LORD was entering the City of David, Michal daughter of Saul watched from a window. And when she saw King David dancing and celebrating, she despised him in her heart.
耶和华的约柜进了大卫城的时候，扫罗的女儿米甲从窗户里观看，见大卫王踊跃跳舞，心里就轻视他。
历代志上第16章
代上16:1
They brought the ark of God and set it inside the tent that David had pitched for it, and they presented burnt offerings and fellowship offerings before God.
众人将 神的约柜请进去，安放在大卫所搭的帐幕里，就在 神面前献燔祭和平安祭。
代上16:2
After David had finished sacrificing the burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.
大卫献完了燔祭和平安祭，就奉耶和华的名给民祝福，
代上16:3
Then he gave a loaf of bread, a cake of dates and a cake of raisins to each Israelite man and woman.
并且分给以色列人，无论男女，每人一个饼，一块肉，一个葡萄饼。
代上16:4
He appointed some of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, to make petition, to give thanks, and to praise the LORD, the God of Israel:
大卫派几个利未人在耶和华的约柜前事奉、颂扬、称谢、赞美耶和华以色列的 神。
代上16:5
Asaph was the chief, Zechariah second, then Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-Edom and Jeiel. They were to play the lyres and harps, Asaph was to sound the cymbals,
为首的是亚萨，其次是撒迦利雅、雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、玛他提雅、以利押、比拿雅、俄别以东、耶利，鼓瑟弹琴；惟有亚萨敲钹，大发响声；
代上16:6
and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests were to blow the trumpets regularly before the ark of the covenant of God.
祭司比拿雅和雅哈悉常在 神的约柜前吹号。
代上16:7
That day David first committed to Asaph and his associates this psalm of thanks to the LORD:
那日，大卫初次藉亚萨和他的弟兄，以诗歌称颂耶和华，说：
代上16:8
Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done.
你们要称谢耶和华，求告他的名，在万民中传扬他的作为。
代上16:9
Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts.
要向他唱诗歌颂，谈论他一切奇妙的作为。
代上16:10
Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.
要以他的圣名夸耀。寻求耶和华的人，心中应当欢喜。
代上16:11
Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.
要寻求耶和华与他的能力，时常寻求他的面。
代上16:12
Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,
他仆人以色列的后裔，他所拣选雅各的子孙哪，
代上16:13
O descendants of Israel his servant, O sons of Jacob, his chosen ones.
你们要记念他奇妙的作为和他的奇事，并他口中的判语。
代上16:14
He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
他是耶和华我们的 神，全地都有他的判断。
代上16:15
He remembers his covenant forever, the word he commanded, for a thousand generations,
你们要记念他的约，直到永远；他所吩咐的话，直到千代，
代上16:16
the covenant he made with Abraham, the oath he swore to Isaac.
就是与亚伯拉罕所立的约，向以撒所起的誓。
代上16:17
He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant:
他又将这约向雅各定为律例；向以色列定为永远的约，
代上16:18
“To you I will give the land of Canaan as the portion you will inherit.”
说：“我必将迦南地赐给你，作你产业的分。”
代上16:19
When they were but few in number, few indeed, and strangers in it,
当时你们人丁有限，数目稀少，并且在那地为寄居的。
代上16:20
they wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another.
他们从这邦游到那邦，从这国行到那国。
代上16:21
He allowed no man to oppress them; for their sake he rebuked kings:
耶和华不容什么人欺负他们，为他们的缘故责备君王，
代上16:22
“Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm.”
说：“不可难为我受膏的人，也不可恶待我的先知。”
代上16:23
Sing to the LORD, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day.
全地都要向耶和华歌唱！天天传扬他的救恩。
代上16:24
Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
在列邦中述说他的荣耀，在万民中述说他的奇事。
代上16:25
For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods.
因耶和华为大，当受极大的赞美；他在万 神之上，当受敬畏！
代上16:26
For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens.
外邦的神都属虚无，惟独耶和华创造诸天。
代上16:27
Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy in his dwelling place.
有尊荣和威严在他面前，有能力和喜乐在他圣所。
代上16:28
Ascribe to the LORD, O families of nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength,
民中的万族啊，你们要将荣耀能力归给耶和华，都归给耶和华！
代上16:29
ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name. Bring an offering and come before him; worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.
要将耶和华的名所当得的荣耀归给他，拿供物来奉到他面前；当以圣洁的妆饰（“的”或作“为”）敬拜耶和华。
代上16:30
Tremble before him, all the earth! The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.
全地要在他面前战抖，世界也坚定不得动摇。
代上16:31
Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let them say among the nations, “The LORD reigns!”
愿天欢喜，愿地快乐！愿人在列邦中说：“耶和华作王了！”
代上16:32
Let the sea resound, and all that is in it; let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them!
愿海和其中所充满的澎湃；愿田和其中所有的都欢乐。
代上16:33
Then the trees of the forest will sing, they will sing for joy before the LORD, for he comes to judge the earth.
那时，林中的树木都要在耶和华面前欢呼，因为他来要审判全地。
代上16:34
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
应当称谢耶和华，因他本为善，他的慈爱永远长存！
代上16:35
Cry out, “Save us, O God our Savior; gather us and deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name, that we may glory in your praise.”
要说：“拯救我们的 神啊，求你救我们，聚集我们，使我们脱离外邦，我们好称赞你的圣名，以赞美你为夸胜。”
代上16:36
Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Then all the people said “Amen” and “Praise the LORD.”
耶和华以色列的 神，从亘古直到永远，是应当称颂的！众民都说：“阿们！”并且赞美耶和华。
代上16:37
David left Asaph and his associates before the ark of the covenant of the LORD to minister there regularly, according to each day’s requirements.
大卫派亚萨和他的弟兄在约柜前常常事奉耶和华，一日尽一日的职分。
代上16:38
He also left Obed-Edom and his sixty-eight associates to minister with them. Obed-Edom son of Jeduthun, and also Hosah, were gatekeepers.
又派俄别以东和他的弟兄六十八人，与耶杜顿的儿子俄别以东，并何萨作守门的。
代上16:39
David left Zadok the priest and his fellow priests before the tabernacle of the LORD at the high place in Gibeon

to present burnt offerings to the LORD on the altar of burnt offering regularly, morning and evening, in accordance with everything written in the Law of the LORD, which he had given Israel.
每日早晚，照着耶和华律法书上所吩咐以色列人的，常给耶和华献燔祭。
代上16:41
With them were Heman and Jeduthun and the rest of those chosen and designated by name to give thanks to the LORD, “for his love endures forever.”
与他们一同被派的有希幔、耶杜顿和其余被选名字录在册上的，称谢耶和华，因他的慈爱永远长存。
代上16:42
Heman and Jeduthun were responsible for the sounding of the trumpets and cymbals and for the playing of the other instruments for sacred song. The sons of Jeduthun were stationed at the gate.
希幔、耶杜顿同着他们吹号、敲钹，大发响声，并用别的乐器随着歌颂 神。耶杜顿的子孙作守门的。
代上16:43
Then all the people left, each for his own home, and David returned home to bless his family.

After David was settled in his palace, he said to Nathan the prophet, “Here I am, living in a palace of cedar, while the ark of the covenant of the LORD is under a tent.”
大卫住在自己宫中，对先知拿单说：“看哪，我住在香柏木的宫中，耶和华的约柜反在幔子里。”
代上17:2
Nathan replied to David, “Whatever you have in mind, do it, for God is with you.”
拿单对大卫说：“你可以照你的心意而行，因为 神与你同在。”
代上17:3
That night the word of God came to Nathan, saying:
当夜， 神的话临到拿单说：
代上17:4
“Go and tell my servant David, ‘This is what the LORD says: You are not the one to build me a house to dwell in.
“你去告诉我仆人大卫说：‘耶和华如此说：你不可建造殿宇给我居住。
代上17:5
I have not dwelt in a house from the day I brought Israel up out of Egypt to this day. I have moved from one tent site to another, from one dwelling place to another.
自从我领以色列人出埃及，直到今日，我未曾住过殿宇，乃从这会幕到那会幕，从这帐幕到那帐幕。
代上17:6
Wherever I have moved with all the Israelites, did I ever say to any of their leaders whom I commanded to shepherd my people, “Why have you not built me a house of cedar?” ‘
凡我同以色列人所走的地方，我何曾向以色列的一个士师，就是我吩咐牧养我民的说：你为何不给我建造香柏木的殿宇呢？’
代上17:7
“Now then, tell my servant David, ‘This is what the LORD Almighty says: I took you from the pasture and from following the flock, to be ruler over my people Israel.
现在你要告诉我仆人大卫说：‘万军之耶和华如此说：我从羊圈中将你召来，叫你不再跟从羊群，立你作我民以色列的君。
代上17:8
I have been with you wherever you have gone, and I have cut off all your enemies from before you. Now I will make your name like the names of the greatest men of the earth.
你无论往哪里去，我常与你同在，剪除你的一切仇敌。我必使你得大名，好像世上大大有名的人一样；
代上17:9
And I will provide a place for my people Israel and will plant them so that they can have a home of their own and no longer be disturbed. Wicked people will not oppress them anymore, as they did at the beginning
我必为我民以色列选定一个地方，栽培他们，使他们住自己的地方，不再迁移。凶恶之子也不像从前扰害他们，
代上17:10
and have done ever since the time I appointed leaders over my people Israel. I will also subdue all your enemies. “‘I declare to you that the LORD will build a house for you:
并不像我命士师治理我民以色列的时候一样。我必治服你的一切仇敌，并且我耶和华应许你，必为你建立家室。
代上17:11
When your days are over and you go to be with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, one of your own sons, and I will establish his kingdom.
你寿数满足归你列祖的时候，我必使你的后裔接续你的位，我也必坚定他的国。
代上17:12
He is the one who will build a house for me, and I will establish his throne forever.
他必为我建造殿宇；我必坚定他的国位直到永远。
代上17:13
I will be his father, and he will be my son. I will never take my love away from him, as I took it away from your predecessor.
我要作他的父，他要作我的子。并不使我的慈爱离开他，像离开在你以前的扫罗一样。
代上17:14
I will set him over my house and my kingdom forever; his throne will be established forever.’”
我却要将他永远坚立在我家里和我国里；他的国位也必坚定，直到永远。’”
代上17:15
Nathan reported to David all the words of this entire revelation.
拿单就按这一切话，照这默示，告诉大卫。
代上17:16
Then King David went in and sat before the LORD, and he said: “Who am I, O LORD God, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far?
于是大卫王进去，坐在耶和华面前，说：“耶和华 神啊，我是谁？我的家算什么，你竟使我到这地步呢？
代上17:17
And as if this were not enough in your sight, O God, you have spoken about the future of the house of your servant. You have looked on me as though I were the most exalted of men, O LORD God.
神啊，这在你眼中还看为小，又应许你仆人的家至于久远。耶和华 神啊，你看顾我好像看顾高贵的人。
代上17:18
“What more can David say to you for honoring your servant? For you know your servant,
你加于仆人的尊荣，我还有何言可说呢？因为你知道你的仆人。
代上17:19
O LORD. For the sake of your servant and according to your will, you have done this great thing and made known all these great promises.
耶和华啊，你行了这大事，并且显明出来，是因你仆人的缘故，也是照你的心意。
代上17:20
“There is no one like you, O LORD, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears.
耶和华啊，照我们耳中听见，没有可比你的，除你以外再无 神！
代上17:21
And who is like your people Israel–the one nation on earth whose God went out to redeem a people for himself, and to make a name for yourself, and to perform great and awesome wonders by driving out nations from before your people, whom you redeemed from Egypt?
世上有何民能比你的民以色列呢？你 神从埃及救赎他们作自己的子民，又在你赎出来的民面前行大而可畏的事，驱逐列邦人，显出你的大名。
代上17:22
You made your people Israel your very own forever, and you, O LORD, have become their God.
你使以色列人作你的子民，直到永远；你耶和华也作他们的 神。
代上17:23
“And now, LORD, let the promise you have made concerning your servant and his house be established forever. Do as you promised,
耶和华啊，你所应许仆人和仆人家的话，求你坚定，直到永远，照你所说的而行。
代上17:24
so that it will be established and that your name will be great forever. Then men will say, ‘The LORD Almighty, the God over Israel, is Israel’s God!’ And the house of your servant David will be established before you.
愿你的名永远坚立，被尊为大说：‘万军之耶和华是以色列的 神！是治理以色列的 神！’这样，你仆人大卫的家必在你面前坚立。
代上17:25
“You, my God, have revealed to your servant that you will build a house for him. So your servant has found courage to pray to you.
我的 神啊，因你启示仆人说：‘我必为你建立家室。’所以仆人大胆在你面前祈祷。
代上17:26
O LORD, you are God! You have promised these good things to your servant.
耶和华啊，惟有你是 神，你也应许将这福气赐给仆人。
代上17:27
Now you have been pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever in your sight; for you, O LORD, have blessed it, and it will be blessed forever.”
现在你喜悦赐福与仆人的家，可以永存在你面前。耶和华啊，你已经赐福，还要赐福到永远。”
历代志上第18章
代上18:1
In the course of time, David defeated the Philistines and subdued them, and he took Gath and its surrounding villages from the control of the Philistines.
此后，大卫攻打非利士人，把他们治服，从他们手下夺取了迦特和属迦特的村庄；
代上18:2
David also defeated the Moabites, and they became subject to him and brought tribute.
又攻打摩押，摩押人就归服大卫，给他进贡。
代上18:3
Moreover, David fought Hadadezer king of Zobah, as far as Hamath, when he went to establish his control along the Euphrates River.
琐赐王哈大利谢（撒母耳下八章三节作“哈大底谢”）往伯拉河去，要坚定自己的国权，大卫就攻打他，直到哈马。
代上18:4
David captured a thousand of his chariots, seven thousand charioteers and twenty thousand foot soldiers. He hamstrung all but a hundred of the chariot horses.
夺了他的战车一千，马兵七千，步兵二万，将拉战车的马砍断蹄筋，但留下一百辆车的马。
代上18:5
When the Arameans of Damascus came to help Hadadezer king of Zobah, David struck down twenty-two thousand of them.
大马色的亚兰人来帮助琐巴王哈大利谢，大卫就杀了亚兰人二万二千。
代上18:6
He put garrisons in the Aramean kingdom of Damascus, and the Arameans became subject to him and brought tribute. The LORD gave David victory everywhere he went.
于是，大卫在大马色的亚兰地设立防营，亚兰人就归服他，给他进贡。大卫无论往哪里去，耶和华都使他得胜。
代上18:7
David took the gold shields carried by the officers of Hadadezer and brought them to Jerusalem.
他夺了哈大利谢臣仆所拿的金盾牌，带到耶路撒冷。
代上18:8
From Tebah and Cun, towns that belonged to Hadadezer, David took a great quantity of bronze, which Solomon used to make the bronze Sea, the pillars and various bronze articles.
大卫又从属哈大利谢的提巴（或作“比他”）和均二城中，夺取了许多的铜。后来所罗门用此制造铜海、铜柱和一切的铜器。
代上18:9
When Tou king of Hamath heard that David had defeated the entire army of Hadadezer king of Zobah,
哈马王陀乌听见大卫杀败琐巴王哈大利谢的全军，
代上18:10
he sent his son Hadoram to King David to greet him and congratulate him on his victory in battle over Hadadezer, who had been at war with Tou. Hadoram brought all kinds of articles of gold and silver and bronze.
就打发他儿子哈多兰去见大卫王，问他的安，为他祝福，因为他杀败了哈大利谢。原来陀乌与哈大利谢常常争战。哈多兰带了金银铜的各样器皿来。
代上18:11
King David dedicated these articles to the LORD, as he had done with the silver and gold he had taken from all these nations: Edom and Moab, the Ammonites and the Philistines, and Amalek.
大卫王将这些器皿并从各国夺来的金银，就是从以东、摩押、亚扪、非利士、亚玛力人所夺来的，都分别为圣献给耶和华。
代上18:12
Abishai son of Zeruiah struck down eighteen thousand Edomites in the Valley of Salt.
洗鲁雅的儿子亚比筛在盐谷击杀了以东一万八千人。
代上18:13
He put garrisons in Edom, and all the Edomites became subject to David. The LORD gave David victory everywhere he went.
大卫在以东地设立防营，以东人就都归服他。大卫无论往哪里去，耶和华都使他得胜。
代上18:14
David reigned over all Israel, doing what was just and right for all his people.
大卫作以色列众人的王，又向众民秉公行义。
代上18:15
Joab son of Zeruiah was over the army; Jehoshaphat son of Ahilud was recorder;
洗鲁雅的儿子约押作元帅，亚希律的儿子约沙法作史官，
代上18:16
Zadok son of Ahitub and Ahimelech son of Abiathar were priests; Shavsha was secretary;
亚希突的儿子撒督和亚比亚他的儿子亚希米勒作祭司长，沙威沙作书记，
代上18:17
Benaiah son of Jehoiada was over the Kerethites and Pelethites; and David’s sons were chief officials at the king’s side.
耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅统辖基利提人和比利提人，大卫的众子都在王的左右作领袖。
历代志上第19章
代上19:1
In the course of time, Nahash king of the Ammonites died, and his son succeeded him as king.
此后，亚扪人的王拿辖死了，他儿子接续他作王。
代上19:2
David thought, “I will show kindness to Hanun son of Nahash, because his father showed kindness to me.” So David sent a delegation to express his sympathy to Hanun concerning his father. When David’s men came to Hanun in the land of the Ammonites to express sympathy to him,
大卫说：“我要照哈嫩的父亲拿辖厚待我的恩典厚待哈嫩。”于是大卫差遣使者为他丧父安慰他。大卫的臣仆到了亚扪人的境内见哈嫩，要安慰他。
代上19:3
the Ammonite nobles said to Hanun, “Do you think David is honoring your father by sending men to you to express sympathy? Haven’t his men come to you to explore and spy out the country and overthrow it?”
但亚扪人的首领对哈嫩说：“大卫差人来安慰你，你想他是尊敬你父亲吗？他的臣仆来见你不是为详察窥探、倾覆这地吗？”
代上19:4
So Hanun seized David’s men, shaved them, cut off their garments in the middle at the buttocks, and sent them away.
哈嫩便将大卫臣仆的胡须剃去一半，又割断他们下半截的衣服，使他们露出下体，打发他们回去。
代上19:5
When someone came and told David about the men, he sent messengers to meet them, for they were greatly humiliated. The king said, “Stay at Jericho till your beards have grown, and then come back.”
有人将臣仆所遇的事告诉大卫，他就差人去迎接他们，因为他们甚觉羞耻。告诉他们说：“可以住在耶利哥，等到胡须长起再回来。”
代上19:6
When the Ammonites realized that they had become a stench in David’s nostrils, Hanun and the Ammonites sent a thousand talents of silver to hire chariots and charioteers from Aram Naharaim, Aram Maacah and Zobah.
亚扪人知道大卫憎恶他们，哈嫩和亚扪人就打发人拿一千他连得银子，从米所波大米、亚兰、玛迦、琐巴雇战车和马兵。
代上19:7
They hired thirty-two thousand chariots and charioteers, as well as the king of Maacah with his troops, who came and camped near Medeba, while the Ammonites were mustered from their towns and moved out for battle.
于是雇了三万二千辆战车和玛迦王并他的军兵。他们来安营在米底巴前，亚扪人也从他们的城里出来，聚集交战。
代上19:8
On hearing this, David sent Joab out with the entire army of fighting men.
大卫听见了，就差派约押统带勇猛的全军出去。
代上19:9
The Ammonites came out and drew up in battle formation at the entrance to their city, while the kings who had come were by themselves in the open country.
亚扪人出来在城门前摆阵；所来的诸王另在郊野摆阵。
代上19:10
Joab saw that there were battle lines in front of him and behind him; so he selected some of the best troops in Israel and deployed them against the Arameans.
约押看见敌人在他前后摆阵，就从以色列军中挑选精兵，使他们对着亚兰人摆阵。
代上19:11
He put the rest of the men under the command of Abishai his brother, and they were deployed against the Ammonites.
其余的兵交与他兄弟亚比筛，对着亚扪人摆阵。
代上19:12
Joab said, “If the Arameans are too strong for me, then you are to rescue me; but if the Ammonites are too strong for you, then I will rescue you.
约押对亚比筛说：“亚兰人若强过我，你就来帮助我；亚扪人若强过你，我就去帮助你。
代上19:13
Be strong and let us fight bravely for our people and the cities of our God. The LORD will do what is good in his sight.”
我们都当刚强，为本国的民和 神的城邑作大丈夫。愿耶和华凭他的意旨而行。”
代上19:14
Then Joab and the troops with him advanced to fight the Arameans, and they fled before him.
于是，约押和跟随他的人前进攻打亚兰人。亚兰人在约押面前逃跑。
代上19:15
When the Ammonites saw that the Arameans were fleeing, they too fled before his brother Abishai and went inside the city. So Joab went back to Jerusalem.
亚扪人见亚兰人逃跑，他们也在约押的兄弟亚比筛面前逃跑进城。约押就回耶路撒冷去了。
代上19:16
After the Arameans saw that they had been routed by Israel, they sent messengers and had Arameans brought from beyond the River, with Shophach the commander of Hadadezer’s army leading them.
亚兰人见自己被以色列人打败，就打发使者将大河那边的亚兰人调来，哈大利谢的将军朔法率领他们。
代上19:17
When David was told of this, he gathered all Israel and crossed the Jordan; he advanced against them and formed his battle lines opposite them. David formed his lines to meet the Arameans in battle, and they fought against him.
有人告诉大卫，他就聚集以色列众人过约旦河，来到亚兰人那里，迎着他们摆阵。大卫既摆阵攻击亚兰人，亚兰人就与他打仗。
代上19:18
But they fled before Israel, and David killed seven thousand of their charioteers and forty thousand of their foot soldiers. He also killed Shophach the commander of their army.
亚兰人在以色列人面前逃跑。大卫杀了亚兰七千辆战车的人、四万步兵，又杀了亚兰的将军朔法。
代上19:19
When the vassals of Hadadezer saw that they had been defeated by Israel, they made peace with David and became subject to him. So the Arameans were not willing to help the Ammonites anymore.
属哈大利谢的诸王见自己被以色列人打败，就与大卫和好，归服他。于是亚兰人不敢再帮助亚扪人了。
历代志上第20章
代上20:1
In the spring, at the time when kings go off to war, Joab led out the armed forces. He laid waste the land of the Ammonites and went to Rabbah and besieged it, but David remained in Jerusalem. Joab attacked Rabbah and left it in ruins.
过了一年，到列王出战的时候，约押率领军兵毁坏亚扪人的地，围攻拉巴。大卫仍住在耶路撒冷。约押攻打拉巴，将城倾覆。
代上20:2
David took the crown from the head of their king–its weight was found to be a talent of gold, and it was set with precious stones–and it was placed on David’s head. He took a great quantity of plunder from the city
大卫夺了亚扪人之王（“王”或作“玛勒堪”。“玛勒堪”即“米勒公”，亚扪族之神名）所戴的金冠冕，其上的金子重一他连得，又嵌着宝石，人将这冠冕戴在大卫头上。大卫从城里夺了许多财物，
代上20:3
and brought out the people who were there, consigning them to labor with saws and with iron picks and axes. David did this to all the Ammonite towns. Then David and his entire army returned to Jerusalem.
将城里的人拉出来，放在锯下，或铁耙下，或铁斧下（或作“强他们用锯，或用打粮食的铁器，或用铁斧作工”），大卫待亚扪各城的居民都是如此。其后大卫和众军都回耶路撒冷去了。
代上20:4
In the course of time, war broke out with the Philistines, at Gezer. At that time Sibbecai the Hushathite killed Sippai, one of the descendants of the Rephaites, and the Philistines were subjugated.
后来，以色列人在基色与非利士人打仗。户沙人西比该杀了伟人的一个儿子细派，非利士人就被制伏了。
代上20:5
In another battle with the Philistines, Elhanan son of Jair killed Lahmi the brother of Goliath the Gittite, who had a spear with a shaft like a weaver’s rod.
又与非利士人打仗，睚珥的儿子伊勒哈难杀了迦特人歌利亚的兄弟拉哈米，这人的枪杆粗如织布的机轴。
代上20:6
In still another battle, which took place at Gath, there was a huge man with six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot–twenty-four in all. He also was descended from Rapha.
又在迦特打仗，那里有一个身量高大的人，手脚都是六指，共有二十四个指头，他也是伟人的儿子。
代上20:7
When he taunted Israel, Jonathan son of Shimea, David’s brother, killed him.
这人向以色列人骂阵，大卫的哥哥示米亚的儿子约拿单就杀了他。
代上20:8
These were descendants of Rapha in Gath, and they fell at the hands of David and his men.
这三个人是迦特伟人的儿子，都死在大卫和他仆人的手下。
历代志上第21章
代上21:1
Satan rose up against Israel and incited David to take a census of Israel.
撒但起来攻击以色列人，激动大卫数点他们。
代上21:2
So David said to Joab and the commanders of the troops, “Go and count the Israelites from Beersheba to Dan. Then report back to me so that I may know how many there are.”
大卫就吩咐约押和民中的首领说：“你们去数点以色列人，从别是巴直到但，回来告诉我，我好知道他们的数目。”
代上21:3
But Joab replied, “May the LORD multiply his troops a hundred times over. My lord the king, are they not all my lord’s subjects? Why does my lord want to do this? Why should he bring guilt on Israel?”
约押说：“愿耶和华使他的百姓比现在加增百倍。我主我王啊，他们不都是你的仆人吗？我主为何吩咐行这事，为何使以色列人陷在罪里呢？”
代上21:4
The king’s word, however, overruled Joab; so Joab left and went throughout Israel and then came back to Jerusalem.
但王的命令胜过约押。约押就出去，走遍以色列地，回到耶路撒冷，
代上21:5
Joab reported the number of the fighting men to David: In all Israel there were one million one hundred thousand men who could handle a sword, including four hundred and seventy thousand in Judah.
将百姓的总数奏告大卫：以色列人拿刀的有一百一十万，犹大人拿刀的有四十七万。
代上21:6
But Joab did not include Levi and Benjamin in the numbering, because the king’s command was repulsive to him.
惟有利未人和便雅悯人没有数在其中，因为约押厌恶王的这命令。
代上21:7
This command was also evil in the sight of God; so he punished Israel.
神不喜悦这数点百姓的事，便降灾给以色列人。
代上21:8
Then David said to God, “I have sinned greatly by doing this. Now, I beg you, take away the guilt of your servant. I have done a very foolish thing.”
大卫祷告 神说：“我行这事大有罪了！现在求你除掉仆人的罪孽，因我所行的甚是愚味。”
代上21:9
The LORD said to Gad, David’s seer,
耶和华吩咐大卫的先见迦得说：
代上21:10
“Go and tell David, ‘This is what the LORD says: I am giving you three options. Choose one of them for me to carry out against you.’”
“你去告诉大卫说：‘耶和华如此说：我有三样灾，随你选择一样，我好降与你。’”
代上21:11
So Gad went to David and said to him, “This is what the LORD says: ‘Take your choice:
于是迦得来见大卫，对他说：“耶和华如此说：‘你可以随意选择：
代上21:12
three years of famine, three months of being swept away before your enemies, with their swords overtaking you, or three days of the sword of the LORD–days of plague in the land, with the angel of the LORD ravaging every part of Israel.’ Now then, decide how I should answer the one who sent me.”
或三年的饥荒；或败在你敌人面前，被敌人的刀追杀三个月；或在你国中有耶和华的刀，就是三日的瘟疫，耶和华的使者在以色列的四境施行毁灭。’现在你要想一想，我好回覆那差我来的。”
代上21:13
David said to Gad, “I am in deep distress. Let me fall into the hands of the LORD, for his mercy is very great; but do not let me fall into the hands of men.”
大卫对迦得说：“我甚为难，我愿落在耶和华的手里，因为他有丰盛的怜悯；我不愿落在人的手里。”
代上21:14
So the LORD sent a plague on Israel, and seventy thousand men of Israel fell dead.
于是耶和华降瘟疫与以色列人，以色列人就死了七万。
代上21:15
And God sent an angel to destroy Jerusalem. But as the angel was doing so, the LORD saw it and was grieved because of the calamity and said to the angel who was destroying the people, “Enough! Withdraw your hand.” The angel of the LORD was then standing at the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.
神差遣使者去灭耶路撒冷，刚要灭的时候，耶和华看见后悔，就不降这灾了，吩咐灭城的天使说：“够了，住手吧！”那时，耶和华的使者站在耶布斯人阿珥楠的禾场那里。
代上21:16
David looked up and saw the angel of the LORD standing between heaven and earth, with a drawn sword in his hand extended over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders, clothed in sackcloth, fell facedown.
大卫举目，看见耶和华的使者站在天地间，手里有拔出来的刀，伸在耶路撒冷以上。大卫和长老都身穿麻衣，面伏于地。
代上21:17
David said to God, “Was it not I who ordered the fighting men to be counted? I am the one who has sinned and done wrong. These are but sheep. What have they done? O LORD my God, let your hand fall upon me and my family, but do not let this plague remain on your people.”
大卫祷告 神说：“吩咐数点百姓的不是我吗？我犯了罪、行了恶，但这群羊做了什么呢？愿耶和华我 神的手攻击我和我的父家，不要攻击你的民、降瘟疫与他们。”
代上21:18
Then the angel of the LORD ordered Gad to tell David to go up and build an altar to the LORD on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.
耶和华的使者吩咐迦得去告诉大卫，叫他上去，在耶布斯人阿珥楠的禾场上，为耶和华筑一座坛。
代上21:19
So David went up in obedience to the word that Gad had spoken in the name of the LORD.
大卫就照着迦得奉耶和华名所说的话上去了。
代上21:20
While Araunah was threshing wheat, he turned and saw the angel; his four sons who were with him hid themselves.
那时，阿珥楠正打麦子，回头看见天使，就和他四个儿子都藏起来了。
代上21:21
Then David approached, and when Araunah looked and saw him, he left the threshing floor and bowed down before David with his face to the ground.
大卫到了阿珥楠那里，阿珥楠看见大卫，就从禾场上出去，脸伏于地，向他下拜。
代上21:22
David said to him, “Let me have the site of your threshing floor so I can build an altar to the LORD, that the plague on the people may be stopped. Sell it to me at the full price.”

Araunah said to David, “Take it! Let my lord the king do whatever pleases him. Look, I will give the oxen for the burnt offerings, the threshing sledges for the wood, and the wheat for the grain offering. I will give all this.”
阿珥楠对大卫说：“你可以用这禾场，愿我主我王照你所喜悦的去行。我也将牛给你作燔祭，把打粮的器具当柴烧，拿麦子作素祭。这些我都送给你。”
代上21:24
But King David replied to Araunah, “No, I insist on paying the full price. I will not take for the LORD what is yours, or sacrifice a burnt offering that costs me nothing.”
大卫王对阿珥楠说：“不然，我必要用足价向你买，我不用你的物献给耶和华，也不用白得之物献为燔祭。”
代上21:25
So David paid Araunah six hundred shekels of gold for the site.
于是，大卫为那块地平了六百舍客勒金子给阿珥楠。
代上21:26
David built an altar to the LORD there and sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. He called on the LORD, and the LORD answered him with fire from heaven on the altar of burnt offering.
大卫在那里为耶和华筑了一座坛，献燔祭和平安祭，求告耶和华，耶和华就应允他，使火从天降在燔祭坛上。
代上21:27
Then the LORD spoke to the angel, and he put his sword back into its sheath.

At that time, when David saw that the LORD had answered him on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite, he offered sacrifices there.

The tabernacle of the LORD, which Moses had made in the desert, and the altar of burnt offering were at that time on the high place at Gibeon.

But David could not go before it to inquire of God, because he was afraid of the sword of the angel of the LORD.
只是大卫不敢前去求问 神，因为惧怕耶和华使者的刀。

Then David said, “The house of the LORD God is to be here, and also the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”

代上22:2
So David gave orders to assemble the aliens living in Israel, and from among them he appointed stonecutters to prepare dressed stone for building the house of God.
大卫预备许多铁，作门上的钉子和?躭；又预备许多铜，多得无法可称；
代上22:3
He provided a large amount of iron to make nails for the doors of the gateways and for the fittings, and more bronze than could be weighed.
又预备无数的香柏木，因为西顿人和推罗人给大卫运了许多香柏木来。
代上22:4
He also provided more cedar logs than could be counted, for the Sidonians and Tyrians had brought large numbers of them to David.
大卫说：“我儿子所罗门还年幼娇嫩，要为耶和华建造的殿宇，必须高大辉煌，使名誉荣耀传遍万国！所以我要为殿预备材料。”于是，大卫在未死之先，预备的材料甚多。
代上22:5
David said, “My son Solomon is young and inexperienced, and the house to be built for the LORD should be of great magnificence and fame and splendor in the sight of all the nations. Therefore I will make preparations for it.” So David made extensive preparations before his death.
大卫召了他儿子所罗门来，嘱咐他给耶和华以色列的 神建造殿宇。
代上22:6
Then he called for his son Solomon and charged him to build a house for the LORD, the God of Israel.
对所罗门说：“我儿啊，我心里本想为耶和华我 神的名建造殿宇，
代上22:7
David said to Solomon: “My son, I had it in my heart to build a house for the Name of the LORD my God.
只是耶和华的话临到我说：‘你流了多人的血，打了多次大仗，你不可为我的名建造殿宇，因为你在我眼前使多人的血流在地上。
代上22:8
But this word of the LORD came to me: ‘You have shed much blood and have fought many wars. You are not to build a house for my Name, because you have shed much blood on the earth in my sight.
你要生一个儿子，他必作太平的人。我必使他安静，不被四围的仇敌扰乱。他的名要叫所罗门（即“太平”之意）。他在位的日子，我必使以色列人平安康泰。
代上22:9
But you will have a son who will be a man of peace and rest, and I will give him rest from all his enemies on every side. His name will be Solomon, and I will grant Israel peace and quiet during his reign.
他必为我的名建造殿宇。他要作我的子，我要作他的父。他作以色列王，我必坚定他的国位，直到永远。’
代上22:10
He is the one who will build a house for my Name. He will be my son, and I will be his father. And I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.’
我儿啊，现今愿耶和华与你同在，使你亨通，照他指着你说的话，建造耶和华你 神的殿。
代上22:11
“Now, my son, the LORD be with you, and may you have success and build the house of the LORD your God, as he said you would.
但愿耶和华赐你聪明智慧，好治理以色列国，遵行耶和华你 神的律法。
代上22:12
May the LORD give you discretion and understanding when he puts you in command over Israel, so that you may keep the law of the LORD your God.
你若谨守遵行耶和华藉摩西吩咐以色列的律例典章，就得亨通。你当刚强壮胆，不要惧怕，也不要惊惶。
代上22:13
Then you will have success if you are careful to observe the decrees and laws that the LORD gave Moses for Israel. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged.
我在困难之中为耶和华的殿预备了金子十万他连得，银子一百万他连得，铜和铁多得无法可称。我也预备了木头石头，你还可以增添。
代上22:14
“I have taken great pains to provide for the temple of the LORD a hundred thousand talents of gold, a million talents of silver, quantities of bronze and iron too great to be weighed, and wood and stone. And you may add to them.
你有许多匠人，就是石匠、木匠和一切能做各样工的巧匠，
代上22:15
You have many workmen: stonecutters, masons and carpenters, as well as men skilled in every kind of work
并有无数的金、银、铜、铁。你当起来办事，愿耶和华与你同在。”
代上22:16
in gold and silver, bronze and iron–craftsmen beyond number. Now begin the work, and the LORD be with you.”
大卫又吩咐以色列的众首领帮助他儿子所罗门，说：
代上22:17
Then David ordered all the leaders of Israel to help his son Solomon.
“耶和华你们的 神不是与你们同在吗？不是叫你们四围都平安吗？因他已将这地的居民交在我手中，这地就在耶和华与他百姓面前制伏了。
代上22:18
He said to them, “Is not the LORD your God with you? And has he not granted you rest on every side? For he has handed the inhabitants of the land over to me, and the land is subject to the LORD and to his people.22:19 Now devote your heart and soul to seeking the LORD your God. Begin to build the sanctuary of the LORD God, so that you may bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD and the sacred articles belonging to God into the temple that will be built for the Name of the LORD.”
现在你们应当立定心意，寻求耶和华你们的 神；也当起来建造耶和华 神的圣所，好将耶和华的约柜和供奉 神的圣器皿，都搬进为耶和华名建造的殿里。”

代上23:1
When David was old and full of years, he made his son Solomon king over Israel.
大卫年纪老迈，日子满足，就立他儿子所罗门作以色列的王。
代上23:2
He also gathered together all the leaders of Israel, as well as the priests and Levites.
大卫招聚以色列的众首领和祭司利未人。
代上23:3
The Levites thirty years old or more were counted, and the total number of men was thirty-eight thousand.
利未人从三十岁以外的都被数点，他们男丁的数目共有三万八千。
代上23:4
David said, “Of these, twenty-four thousand are to supervise the work of the temple of the LORD and six thousand are to be officials and judges.
其中有二万四千人管理耶和华殿的事，有六千人作官长和士师，
代上23:5
Four thousand are to be gatekeepers and four thousand are to praise the LORD with the musical instruments I have provided for that purpose.”
有四千人作守门的，又有四千人用大卫所做的乐器颂赞耶和华。
代上23:6
David divided the Levites into groups corresponding to the sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath and Merari.
大卫将利未人革顺、哥辖、米拉利的子孙分了班次。
代上23:7
Belonging to the Gershonites: Ladan and Shimei.
革顺的子孙有拉但和示每。
代上23:8
The sons of Ladan: Jehiel the first, Zetham and Joel–three in all.
拉但的长子是耶歇，还有细坦和约珥，共三人。
代上23:9
The sons of Shimei: Shelomoth, Haziel and Haran–three in all. These were the heads of the families of Ladan.
示每的儿子是示罗密、哈薛、哈兰三人。这是拉但族的族长。

And the sons of Shimei: Jahath, Ziza, Jeush and Beriah. These were the sons of Shimei–four in all.

Jahath was the first and Ziza the second, but Jeush and Beriah did not have many sons; so they were counted as one family with one assignment.
雅哈是长子，细撒是次子。但耶乌施和比利亚的子孙不多，所以算为一族。

The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel–four in all.
哥辖的儿子是暗兰、以斯哈、希伯伦、乌薛，共四人。
代上23:13
The sons of Amram: Aaron and Moses. Aaron was set apart, he and his descendants forever, to consecrate the most holy things, to offer sacrifices before the LORD, to minister before him and to pronounce blessings in his name forever.
暗兰的儿子是亚伦、摩西。亚伦和他的子孙分出来，好分别至圣的物，在耶和华面前烧香，事奉他，奉他的名祝福，直到永远。
代上23:14
The sons of Moses the man of God were counted as part of the tribe of Levi.
至于神人摩西，他的子孙，名字记在利未支派的册上。

The sons of Moses: Gershom and Eliezer.
摩西的儿子是革舜和以利以谢。

The descendants of Gershom: Shubael was the first.

The descendants of Eliezer: Rehabiah was the first. Eliezer had no other sons, but the sons of Rehabiah were very numerous.

The sons of Izhar: Shelomith was the first.

Eleazar died without having sons: he had only daughters. Their cousins, the sons of Kish, married them.

These were the descendants of Levi by their families–the heads of families as they were registered under their names and counted individually, that is, the workers twenty years old or more who served in the temple of the LORD.

For David had said, “Since the LORD, the God of Israel, has granted rest to his people and has come to dwell in Jerusalem forever,
大卫说：“耶和华以色列的 神，已经使他的百姓平安，他永远住在耶路撒冷。
代上23:26
the Levites no longer need to carry the tabernacle or any of the articles used in its service.”
利未人不必再抬帐幕和其中所用的一切器皿了。”
代上23:27
According to the last instructions of David, the Levites were counted from those twenty years old or more.
照着大卫临终所吩咐的，利未人从二十岁以外的都被数点。
代上23:28
The duty of the Levites was to help Aaron’s descendants in the service of the temple of the LORD: to be in charge of the courtyards, the side rooms, the purification of all sacred things and the performance of other duties at the house of God.
他们的职任是服事亚伦的子孙，在耶和华的殿和院子并屋中办事，洁净一切圣物，就是办神殿的事务，
代上23:29
They were in charge of the bread set out on the table, the flour for the grain offerings, the unleavened wafers, the baking and the mixing, and all measurements of quantity and size.
并管理陈设饼，素祭的细面，或无酵薄饼，或用盘烤，或用油调和的物，又管理各样的升斗尺度。
代上23:30
They were also to stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD. They were to do the same in the evening
每日早晚，站立称谢赞美耶和华，
代上23:31
and whenever burnt offerings were presented to the LORD on Sabbaths and at New Moon festivals and at appointed feasts. They were to serve before the LORD regularly in the proper number and in the way prescribed for them.
又在安息日、月朔并节期，按数照例，将燔祭常常献给耶和华。
代上23:32
And so the Levites carried out their responsibilities for the Tent of Meeting, for the Holy Place and, under their brothers the descendants of Aaron, for the service of the temple of the LORD.
又看守会幕和圣所，并守耶和华吩咐他们弟兄亚伦子孙的，办耶和华殿的事。
历代志上第24章
代上24:1
These were the divisions of the sons of Aaron: The sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
亚伦子孙的班次记在下面：亚伦的儿子是拿答、亚比户、以利亚撒、以他玛。
代上24:2
But Nadab and Abihu died before their father did, and they had no sons; so Eleazar and Ithamar served as the priests.
拿答、亚比户死在他们父亲之先，没有留下儿子，故此，以利亚撒、以他玛供祭司的职分。
代上24:3
With the help of Zadok a descendant of Eleazar and Ahimelech a descendant of Ithamar, David separated them into divisions for their appointed order of ministering.

代上24:4
A larger number of leaders were found among Eleazar’s descendants than among Ithamar’s, and they were divided accordingly: sixteen heads of families from Eleazar’s descendants and eight heads of families from Ithamar’s descendants.

They divided them impartially by drawing lots, for there were officials of the sanctuary and officials of God among the descendants of both Eleazar and Ithamar.

The scribe Shemaiah son of Nethanel, a Levite, recorded their names in the presence of the king and of the officials: Zadok the priest, Ahimelech son of Abiathar and the heads of families of the priests and of the Levites–one family being taken from Eleazar and then one from Ithamar.

As for Rehabiah, from his sons: Isshiah was the first.

David, together with the commanders of the army, set apart some of the sons of Asaph, Heman and Jeduthun for the ministry of prophesying, accompanied by harps, lyres and cymbals. Here is the list of the men who performed this service:

From the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah and Asarelah. The sons of Asaph were under the supervision of Asaph, who prophesied under the king’s supervision.

代上25:3
As for Jeduthun, from his sons: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah and Mattithiah, six in all, under the supervision of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied, using the harp in thanking and praising the LORD.

All these were sons of Heman the king’s seer. They were given him through the promises of God to exalt him. God gave Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

All these men were under the supervision of their fathers for the music of the temple of the LORD, with cymbals, lyres and harps, for the ministry at the house of God. Asaph, Jeduthun and Heman were under the supervision of the king.

Along with their relatives–all of them trained and skilled in music for the LORD–they numbered 288.

Meshelemiah had sons: Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,

Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth and Eliehoenai the seventh.

His son Shemaiah also had sons, who were leaders in their father’s family because they were very capable men.

The sons of Shemaiah: Othni, Rephael, Obed and Elzabad; his relatives Elihu and Semakiah were also able men.

All these were descendants of Obed-Edom; they and their sons and their relatives were capable men with the strength to do the work–descendants of Obed-Edom, 62 in all.

Meshelemiah had sons and relatives, who were able men–18 in all.

The lot for the East Gate fell to Shelemiah. Then lots were cast for his son Zechariah, a wise counselor, and the lot for the North Gate fell to him.

The lot for the South Gate fell to Obed-Edom, and the lot for the storehouse fell to his sons.

Shelomith and his relatives were in charge of all the treasuries for the things dedicated by King David, by the heads of families who were the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds, and by the other army commanders.
这示罗密和他的弟兄掌管府库的圣物，就是大卫王和众族长、千夫长、百夫长并军长所分别为圣的物。
代上26:27
Some of the plunder taken in battle they dedicated for the repair of the temple of the LORD.
他们将争战时所夺的财物分别为圣，以备修造耶和华的殿。

And everything dedicated by Samuel the seer and by Saul son of Kish, Abner son of Ner and Joab son of Zeruiah, and all the other dedicated things were in the care of Shelomith and his relatives.

From the Izharites: Kenaniah and his sons were assigned duties away from the temple, as officials and judges over Israel.

From the Hebronites: Hashabiah and his relatives–seventeen hundred able men–were responsible in Israel west of the Jordan for all the work of the LORD and for the king’s service.

As for the Hebronites, Jeriah was their chief according to the genealogical records of their families. In the fortieth year of David’s reign a search was made in the records, and capable men among the Hebronites were found at Jazer in Gilead.
希伯伦族中有耶利雅作族长。大卫作王第四十年，在基列的雅谢，从这族中寻得大能的勇士。

Jeriah had twenty-seven hundred relatives, who were able men and heads of families, and King David put them in charge of the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh for every matter pertaining to God and for the affairs of the king.

代上27:1
This is the list of the Israelites–heads of families, commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds, and their officers, who served the king in all that concerned the army divisions that were on duty month by month throughout the year. Each division consisted of 24,000 men.
以色列人的族长、千夫长、百夫长和官长都分定班次，每班是二万四千人，周年按月轮流，替换出入服事王。
代上27:2
In charge of the first division, for the first month, was Jashobeam son of Zabdiel. There were 24,000 men in his division.
正月第一班的班长是撒巴第业的儿子雅朔班，他班内有二万四千人。
代上27:3
He was a descendant of Perez and chief of all the army officers for the first month.
他是法勒斯的子孙，统管正月班的一切军长。

In charge of the division for the second month was Dodai the Ahohite; Mikloth was the leader of his division. There were 24,000 men in his division.
二月的班长是亚哈希人朵代，还有副官密基罗，他班内有二万四千人。

The third army commander, for the third month, was Benaiah son of Jehoiada the priest. He was chief and there were 24,000 men in his division.

This was the Benaiah who was a mighty man among the Thirty and was over the Thirty. His son Ammizabad was in charge of his division.

The fourth, for the fourth month, was Asahel the brother of Joab; his son Zebadiah was his successor. There were 24,000 men in his division.

The fifth, for the fifth month, was the commander Shamhuth the Izrahite. There were 24,000 men in his division.

David did not take the number of the men twenty years old or less, because the LORD had promised to make Israel as numerous as the stars in the sky.
以色列人二十岁以内的，大卫没有记其数目，因耶和华曾应许说，必加增以色列人如天上的星那样多。
代上27:24
Joab son of Zeruiah began to count the men but did not finish. Wrath came on Israel on account of this numbering, and the number was not entered in the book of the annals of King David.
洗鲁雅的儿子约押动手数点；当时耶和华的烈怒临到以色列人，因此没有点完，数目也没有写在大卫王记上。
代上27:25
Azmaveth son of Adiel was in charge of the royal storehouses. Jonathan son of Uzziah was in charge of the storehouses in the outlying districts, in the towns, the villages and the watchtowers.
掌管王府库的是亚叠的儿子押斯马威。掌管田野城邑村庄保障之仓库的是乌西雅的儿子约拿单。
代上27:26
Ezri son of Kelub was in charge of the field workers who farmed the land.
掌管耕田种地的是基绿的儿子以斯利；

Shimei the Ramathite was in charge of the vineyards. Zabdi the Shiphmite was in charge of the produce of the vineyards for the wine vats.
掌管葡萄园的是拉玛人示每；掌管葡萄园酒窖的是实弗米人撒巴底；

Baal-Hanan the Gederite was in charge of the olive and sycamore-fig trees in the western foothills. Joash was in charge of the supplies of olive oil.

Shitrai the Sharonite was in charge of the herds grazing in Sharon. Shaphat son of Adlai was in charge of the herds in the valleys.

Obil the Ishmaelite was in charge of the camels. Jehdeiah the Meronothite was in charge of the donkeys.

Jaziz the Hagrite was in charge of the flocks. All these were the officials in charge of King David’s property.

Jonathan, David’s uncle, was a counselor, a man of insight and a scribe. Jehiel son of Hacmoni took care of the king’s sons.
大卫的叔叔约拿单作谋士，这人有智慧，又作书记。哈摩尼的儿子耶歇作王众子的师傅。
代上27:33
Ahithophel was the king’s counselor. Hushai the Arkite was the king’s friend.
亚希多弗也作王的谋士。亚基人户筛作王的陪伴。
代上27:34
Ahithophel was succeeded by Jehoiada son of Benaiah and by Abiathar. Joab was the commander of the royal army.
亚希多弗之后，有比拿雅的儿子耶何耶大和亚比亚他接续他作谋士。约押作王的元帅。

代上28:1
David summoned all the officials of Israel to assemble at Jerusalem: the officers over the tribes, the commanders of the divisions in the service of the king, the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds, and the officials in charge of all the property and livestock belonging to the king and his sons, together with the palace officials, the mighty men and all the brave warriors.
大卫招聚以色列各支派的首领和轮班服事王的军长与千夫长、百夫长，掌管王和王子产业、牲畜的，并太监，以及大能的勇士，都到耶路撒冷来。
代上28:2
King David rose to his feet and said: “Listen to me, my brothers and my people. I had it in my heart to build a house as a place of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, for the footstool of our God, and I made plans to build it.
大卫王就站起来说：“我的弟兄、我的百姓啊，你们当听我言！我心里本想建造殿宇，安放耶和华的约柜，作为我 神的脚凳，我已经预备建造的材料。
代上28:3
But God said to me, ‘You are not to build a house for my Name, because you are a warrior and have shed blood.’
只是 神对我说：‘你不可为我的名建造殿宇，因你是战士，流了人的血。’
代上28:4
“Yet the LORD, the God of Israel, chose me from my whole family to be king over Israel forever. He chose Judah as leader, and from the house of Judah he chose my family, and from my father’s sons he was pleased to make me king over all Israel.
然而耶和华以色列的 神，在我父的全家拣选我作以色列的王，直到永远。因他拣选犹大为首领；在犹大支派中拣选我父家；在我父的众子里喜悦我，立我作以色列众人的王。
代上28:5
Of all my sons–and the LORD has given me many–he has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the LORD over Israel.
耶和华赐我许多儿子，在我儿子中拣选所罗门坐耶和华的国位，治理以色列人。
代上28:6
He said to me: ‘Solomon your son is the one who will build my house and my courts, for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.
耶和华对我说：‘你儿子所罗门必建造我的殿和院宇，因为我拣选他作我的子，我也必作他的父。
代上28:7
I will establish his kingdom forever if he is unswerving in carrying out my commands and laws, as is being done at this time.’
他若恒久遵行我的诫命典章，如今日一样，我就必坚定他的国位，直到永远。’
代上28:8
“So now I charge you in the sight of all Israel and of the assembly of the LORD, and in the hearing of our God: Be careful to follow all the commands of the LORD your God, that you may possess this good land and pass it on as an inheritance to your descendants forever.
现今在耶和华的会中，以色列众人眼前所说的，我们的 神也听见了。你们应当寻求耶和华你们 神的一切诫命，谨守遵行，如此你们可以承受这美地，遗留给你们的子孙永远为业。
代上28:9
“And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.
我儿所罗门哪，你当认识耶和华你父的 神，诚心乐意地事奉他。因为他鉴察众人的心，知道一切心思意念。你若寻求他，他必使你寻见；你若离弃他，他必永远丢弃你！
代上28:10
Consider now, for the LORD has chosen you to build a temple as a sanctuary. Be strong and do the work.”
你当谨慎，因耶和华拣选你建造殿宇作为圣所。你当刚强去行。”
代上28:11
Then David gave his son Solomon the plans for the portico of the temple, its buildings, its storerooms, its upper parts, its inner rooms and the place of atonement.
大卫将殿的游廊、旁屋、府库、楼房、内殿和施恩所的样式，指示他儿子所罗门。
代上28:12
He gave him the plans of all that the Spirit had put in his mind for the courts of the temple of the LORD and all the surrounding rooms, for the treasuries of the temple of God and for the treasuries for the dedicated things.
又将被灵感动所得的样式，就是耶和华神殿的院子、周围的房屋、殿的府库和圣物府库的一切样式都指示他。
代上28:13
He gave him instructions for the divisions of the priests and Levites, and for all the work of serving in the temple of the LORD, as well as for all the articles to be used in its service.
又指示他祭司和利未人的班次，与耶和华殿里各样的工作，并耶和华殿里一切器皿的样式，
代上28:14
He designated the weight of gold for all the gold articles to be used in various kinds of service, and the weight of silver for all the silver articles to be used in various kinds of service:
以及各样应用金器的分两，和各样应用银器的分两，
代上28:15
the weight of gold for the gold lampstands and their lamps, with the weight for each lampstand and its lamps; and the weight of silver for each silver lampstand and its lamps, according to the use of each lampstand;
金灯台和金灯的分两，银灯台和银灯的分两，轻重各都合宜，
代上28:16
the weight of gold for each table for consecrated bread; the weight of silver for the silver tables;
陈设饼金桌子的分两，银桌子的分两，
代上28:17
the weight of pure gold for the forks, sprinkling bowls and pitchers; the weight of gold for each gold dish; the weight of silver for each silver dish;

and the weight of the refined gold for the altar of incense. He also gave him the plan for the chariot, that is, the cherubim of gold that spread their wings and shelter the ark of the covenant of the LORD.
精金香坛的分两，并用金子做基路伯（原文作“用金子做车式的基路伯”）。基路伯张开翅膀，遮掩耶和华的约柜。
代上28:19
“All this,” David said, “I have in writing from the hand of the LORD upon me, and he gave me understanding in all the details of the plan.”
大卫说：“这一切工作的样式，都是耶和华用手划出来使我明白的。”
代上28:20
David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished.
大卫又对他儿子所罗门说：“你当刚强壮胆去行！不要惧怕，也不要惊惶。因为耶和华 神就是我的 神，与你同在；他必不撇下你，也不丢弃你，直到耶和华殿的工作都完毕了。
代上28:21
The divisions of the priests and Levites are ready for all the work on the temple of God, and every willing man skilled in any craft will help you in all the work. The officials and all the people will obey your every command.”
有祭司和利未人的各班为要办理神殿各样的事，又有灵巧的人在各样的工作上乐意帮助你，并有众首领和众民一心听从你的命令。”
历代志上第29章
代上29:1
Then King David said to the whole assembly: “My son Solomon, the one whom God has chosen, is young and inexperienced. The task is great, because this palatial structure is not for man but for the LORD God.
大卫王对会众说：“我儿子所罗门是 神特选的，还年幼娇嫩。这工程甚大，因这殿不是为人，乃是为耶和华 神建造的。
代上29:2
With all my resources I have provided for the temple of my God–gold for the gold work, silver for the silver, bronze for the bronze, iron for the iron and wood for the wood, as well as onyx for the settings, turquoise, stones of various colors, and all kinds of fine stone and marble–all of these in large quantities.
我为我 神的殿已经尽力，预备金子做金器，银子做银器，铜做铜器，铁做铁器，木做木器，还有红玛瑙可镶嵌的宝石，彩石和一切的宝石，并许多汉白玉。
代上29:3
Besides, in my devotion to the temple of my God I now give my personal treasures of gold and silver for the temple of my God, over and above everything I have provided for this holy temple:
且因我心中爱慕我 神的殿，就在预备建造圣殿的材料之外，又将我自己积蓄的金银献上，建造我 神的殿，
代上29:4
three thousand talents of gold (gold of Ophir) and seven thousand talents of refined silver, for the overlaying of the walls of the buildings,
就是俄斐金三千他连得，精炼的银子七千他连得，以贴殿墙。
代上29:5
for the gold work and the silver work, and for all the work to be done by the craftsmen. Now, who is willing to consecrate himself today to the LORD?”
金子做金器，银子做银器，并藉匠人的手制造一切。今日有谁乐意将自己献给耶和华呢？”
代上29:6
Then the leaders of families, the officers of the tribes of Israel, the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds, and the officials in charge of the king’s work gave willingly.
于是，众族长和以色列各支派的首领、千夫长、百夫长，并监管王工的官长，都乐意献上。
代上29:7
They gave toward the work on the temple of God five thousand talents and ten thousand darics of gold, ten thousand talents of silver, eighteen thousand talents of bronze and a hundred thousand talents of iron.
他们为神殿的使用献上金子五千他连得零一万达利克，银子一万他连得，铜一万八千他连得，铁十万他连得。
代上29:8
Any who had precious stones gave them to the treasury of the temple of the LORD in the custody of Jehiel the Gershonite.
凡有宝石的都交给革顺人耶歇，送入耶和华殿的府库。
代上29:9
The people rejoiced at the willing response of their leaders, for they had given freely and wholeheartedly to the LORD. David the king also rejoiced greatly.
因这些人诚心乐意献给耶和华，百姓就欢喜，大卫王也大大欢喜。
代上29:10
David praised the LORD in the presence of the whole assembly, saying, “Praise be to you, O LORD, God of our father Israel, from everlasting to everlasting.
所以，大卫在会众面前称颂耶和华说：“耶和华我们的父，以色列的 神，是应当称颂，直到永永远远的！
代上29:11
Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.
耶和华啊，尊大、能力、荣耀、强胜、威严都是你的；凡天上地下的都是你的；国度也是你的；并且你为至高，为万有之首。
代上29:12
Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all.
丰富尊荣都从你而来。你也治理万物。在你手里有大能大力，使人尊大强盛都出于你。
代上29:13
Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name.
我们的 神啊，现在我们称谢你，赞美你荣耀之名！
代上29:14
“But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.
我算什么，我的民算什么，竟能如此乐意奉献？因为万物都从你而来，我们把从你而得的献给你！
代上29:15
We are aliens and strangers in your sight, as were all our forefathers. Our days on earth are like a shadow, without hope.
我们在你面前是客旅、是寄居的，与我们列祖一样。我们在世的日子如影儿，不能长存（或作“没有长存的指望”）。
代上29:16
O LORD our God, as for all this abundance that we have provided for building you a temple for your Holy Name, it comes from your hand, and all of it belongs to you.
耶和华我们的 神啊，我们预备这许多材料，要为你的圣名建造殿宇，都是从你而来，都是属你的。
代上29:17
I know, my God, that you test the heart and are pleased with integrity. All these things have I given willingly and with honest intent. And now I have seen with joy how willingly your people who are here have given to you.
我的 神啊，我知道你察验人心，喜悦正直。我以正直的心乐意献上这一切物。现在我喜欢见你的民在这里都乐意奉献与你。
代上29:18
O LORD, God of our fathers Abraham, Isaac and Israel, keep this desire in the hearts of your people forever, and keep their hearts loyal to you.
耶和华我们列祖亚伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的 神啊，求你使你的民，常存这样的心思意念，坚定他们的心归向你。
代上29:19
And give my son Solomon the wholehearted devotion to keep your commands, requirements and decrees and to do everything to build the palatial structure for which I have provided.”
又求你赐我儿子所罗门诚实的心，遵守你的命令、法度、律例，成就这一切的事，用我所预备的建造殿宇。”
代上29:20
Then David said to the whole assembly, “Praise the LORD your God.” So they all praised the LORD, the God of their fathers; they bowed low and fell prostrate before the LORD and the king.
大卫对全会众说：“你们应当称颂耶和华你们的 神。”于是，会众称颂耶和华他们列祖的 神，低头拜耶和华与王。
代上29:21
The next day they made sacrifices to the LORD and presented burnt offerings to him: a thousand bulls, a thousand rams and a thousand male lambs, together with their drink offerings, and other sacrifices in abundance for all Israel.
次日，他们向耶和华献平安祭和燔祭，就是献公牛一千只，公绵羊一千只，羊羔一千只，并同献的奠祭，又为以色列众人献许多的祭。那日，他们在耶和华面前吃喝，大大欢乐。
代上29:22
They ate and drank with great joy in the presence of the LORD that day. Then they acknowledged Solomon son of David as king a second time, anointing him before the LORD to be ruler and Zadok to be priest.
他们奉耶和华的命，再膏大卫的儿子所罗门作王，又膏撒督作祭司。
代上29:23
So Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king in place of his father David. He prospered and all Israel obeyed him.
于是所罗门坐在耶和华所赐的位上，接续他父亲大卫作王，万事亨通；以色列众人也都听从他。
代上29:24
All the officers and mighty men, as well as all of King David’s sons, pledged their submission to King Solomon.
众首领和勇士，并大卫王的众子，都顺服所罗门王。
代上29:25
The LORD highly exalted Solomon in the sight of all Israel and bestowed on him royal splendor such as no king over Israel ever had before.
耶和华使所罗门在以色列众人眼前甚为尊大，极其威严，胜过在他以前的以色列王。
代上29:26
David son of Jesse was king over all Israel.
耶西的儿子大卫作以色列众人的王。
代上29:27
He ruled over Israel forty years–seven in Hebron and thirty-three in Jerusalem.
作王共四十年：在希伯仑作王七年，在耶路撒冷作王三十三年。
代上29:28
He died at a good old age, having enjoyed long life, wealth and honor. His son Solomon succeeded him as king.
他年纪老迈，日子满足，享受丰富、尊荣，就死了。他儿子所罗门接续他作王。
代上29:29
As for the events of King David’s reign, from beginning to end, they are written in the records of Samuel the seer, the records of Nathan the prophet and the records of Gad the seer,
大卫王始终的事，都写在先见撒母耳的书上和先知拿单并先见迦得的书上。
代上29:30
together with the details of his reign and power, and the circumstances that surrounded him and Israel and the kingdoms of all the other lands.
他的国事和他的勇力，以及他和以色列并列国所经过的事，都写在这书上。
